Living a Lie
The hardest thing to do in life is live a lie, even though we are taught "that is who you are..." and most of us just except that is what we are, and try our best to live up to those expectations. Though some of us wake up and realize how rather brainless of us to believe the lie we're told. We then begin to push through the boundaries of ourselves in order to discover who we are.... And only then can we discover that the light of truth sets us free of the lie.......

The Ides of March
Well today is the 14 of March 2012. The Day before Julius Caesar's death at the hands of the Senate over 2000 years ago.
As history retells this fateful tail. Plutarch gives mention of an interesting warning in his work "Life of Caesar" in which he recounts "that a soothsayer bade him prepare for some great danger on the Ides of March." among other bad omens Julius was to receive before breathing he last breath.
This famous saying would reappear in Shakespeare's play "Julius Caesar" with a bit more flare for the audience:
Soothsayer
Caesar!
CAESAR
Ha! who calls?
CASCA
Bid every noise be still: peace yet again!
CAESAR
Who is it in the press that calls on me?
I hear a tongue, shriller than all the music,
Cry 'Caesar!' Speak; Caesar is turn'd to hear.
Soothsayer
Beware the ides of March.
CAESAR
What man is that?
BRUTUS
A soothsayer bids you beware the ides of March.
CAESAR
Set him before me; let me see his face.
CASSIUS
Fellow, come from the throng; look upon Caesar.
CAESAR
What say'st thou to me now? speak once again.
Soothsayer
Beware the ides of March.
Caesar!
CAESAR
Ha! who calls?

So what will March 15 bring this year?
I'm hoping an early spring.

The Thule Secret Society Part 1
I just happened to be browsing for some info on the Thule Society and came across this video which I found interesting and perhaps in the future I could do some research in to some of the things it brings up. (it has a misleading title)

Well now for the other end of the spectum.
Bart D. Ehrman is one of my favorite authors in New Testament Studies, he brings a logical and sound argument to the table. Now I just happened to stop by his site and noticed he has a new book out.
So many books so little time.......
